The Cassiar Highway is beautiful! It was the way Jim and I rode up on the motorcycle in 2003. Back then is was a combination of graded gravel and pavement. Not anymore! We had a few small sections of gravel about 180 miles in, but the rest is paved! And well paved too! According to the signs a major portion of it was finished last year! Not a lot of animals today. We saw a few foxes and what looked like a big black weasel.
