We stopped along the spit for the view and were treated to a kite surfing show. Two people were getting ready and then launched their rigs near where we were standing. They stand on a snowboard like surfboard and use a large kite to propel themselves. It's amazing how they are able to control their direction and speed with the sail. They go fast and can get a lot of air!
