The fog lifted a big and gave us more of a view. The light made some of the lichen look like it was glowing. It was a cool effect and we stopped to take a few photos. This is one of the most interesting landscapes- the rocky hills create dozens of small lakes. They are cold and clear and have the emerald effect we saw yesterday. The trees are a different type of pine. They are stunted and partially stripped by the snow and wind. Put is all together and it's breathtaking even on a rainy day!
