The Yukon Quest is a 1000 mile dogsled race from Whitehorse in the Yukon to Fairbanks. We have learned that there are many races throughout Alaska. They are of varying lengths and several successful runs are needed to qualify for the Iditarod. We went to race headquarters where they start or finish the race depending on the year. It changes direction each year. In 2025 this will be the start of the race.
