In the summer the dogs are harnessed to the side by side to train and go for rides. According to Michelle it's like power lifting because it's heavier and harder to pull. By the time there is snow in November the dogs are ready for the regular sled.
This is the alpha team. Michelle will take some of them when she runs the 2025 Iditarod.
One of the dogs was misbehaving so we stopped for Michelle to discipline him and change the lead dog. It was like watching a class full of middle schoolers!
