Part of the boat tour was touring rebuilt and relocated native and early settlers camps. This fish camp shows how the natives set things up near the rivers where the salmon run, catch the fish, and smoke them. That's a fish wheel in the river. It catches the salmon as they swim up-stream and dumps them in a container on the side. very resourceful and clever!
