Mount Drum, elevation 12,010 ft

The road followed the Wrangell Mt. St. Elias National Park for a long way. We watched the 16,000+ foot peak of Mount Sanford and the 12,000+foot peak of Mount Drum go in and out of the clouds. We kept hoping for wildlife along the river and pulled off to take a closer look. The girls are not in the photo because they were hiding from the mosquitoes.
