Built for the military and then flown commercially this DC-3 was saved, refurbished, and mounted on a set of bearings. It’s a tribute to the aviation history that rotates in the wind so its nose is always facing into the wind. A fascinating wacky wild and weird stop! (Fun fact- Mario was friends with the fabricator who designed and built the pedestal!)
