Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a sanctuary for injured and orphaned animals found in Alaska. Many of them were brought here because they were found early (only a few days old) without their mother. They have all the ones we have been looking for along our adventure.

Trix the porcupine. She was having lunch and one of our favorites. She held her bowl in one paw and scooped her food with the other.

Uli the black bear.

JB the coastal Brown Bear. A larger cousin of the Grizzly Bear

JB's sister, Patron.
